When we first spoke with Caroline, she shared how the shifting skies, rugged coastline, and heather-covered hills of the Isle of Skye shaped her vision. Every detail was chosen with care, from the tonal palette that echoes mist and stone to textural elements that reflect the island’s raw terrain. The result is a striking yet serene centrepiece where traditional craftsmanship meets the untamed spirit of the Highlands.

Caroline embarked on this DIY journey, weaving together the timeless charm of our Classic Delft and Andalucia Granada tiles.

Caroline embraced a reclaimed oak mantel, bringing warmth and texture that harmonizes with her Delft tiles.

She laid her Andalucia Granada floor tiles both inside and in front of the log burner, crafting a durable surface that also bathes the space in warm, inviting tones.

The rest of the room flows seamlessly with the newly renovated fireplace, creating a space that exudes charm, warmth, and tranquility.

From that very spot, Caroline can gaze upon the stunning scenery that partly inspired the design of her new fireplace.

So often if I’m scrolling on Instagram or Pinterest and see some tiles I like, when I look further into it and discover they’re from Marlborough Tiles. Their tiles always just seem to jump out to me, so when creating a feature that I want to catch people’s eye when they enter the room, Marlborough Tiles was a no brainer.
