Summer shutdown
Our factory will be closed for our annual summer shutdown between 31st July and 13th August 2023.
Every summer, we close production at our factory in Marlborough for a two week period. This enables us to complete a thorough inspection of our kiln, tools and machinery, and helps us to ensure that the tiles we produce continue to be of the highest quality. It also allows our hard working team to enjoy some well-earned time off in the height of the summer.
This year our summer shutdown will take place between 31st July and 13th August. Naturally, this will affect timescales for some customer orders. Read on to learn more...
What to expect
Tile samples
Samples of handmade wall and floor tiles will continue to be available throughout this period, and will be dispatched within 2-3 working days. Handpainted tile samples will be painted and dispatched within 4-6 weeks of your order being placed.
Hand painted & hand piped wall tiles
Orders of handpainted and handpiped tiles placed after 19th June will take 8-10 weeks to be produced and sent to you.
Wall tiles
Orders for handmade wall tiles placed before 16th July will be delivered within 2-3 weeks.
Orders placed after 16th July will be manufactured and delivered following the summer shutdown, within 4-6 weeks of your order being placed.
Floor tiles
In-stock orders for floor tiles placed before 16th July will be dispatched within 2 weeks.
Floor tile orders placed after this date - and those which are imported specifically for you - will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your order.
