Three inspiring kitchen looks at the Everhot showroom

One of the great joys of what we do is partnering with other artisans who are as passionate about timeless British design and preserving traditional techniques as we are. One such brand is Everhot, manufacturers of the most energy efficient range cookers on the market. Their shared commitment to handcrafting high-quality, beautiful products that are made to last make them a natural choice for a collaboration. Based at a picturesque 13th century water mill in our neighbouring county of Gloucestershire, Everhot have stood proudly on the same site since its beginnings, just as we have in our birthplace of Marlborough. To mark the opening of Everhot’s exciting redesigned showroom, we are delighted to reveal three looks pairing different sizes and colours of their cookers with our tiles, which we hope will spark inspiration for the design of your own kitchen scheme.

Like our extensive collection of wall tiles, Everhot cookers come in a spectrum of stunning colours. From shades that have stood the test of time such as their classic Sage Green to vibrant hues like their Tangerine, there is a colour palette to suit every home. Each of the three harmonious pairings have been carefully chosen to reflect the versatility and diversity of our tiles. In this first look, our Kennet Long Stone skinny metro brick tiles have been paired with an Everhot 150i in Grey Goose. These soft and muted grey tones offset the bold cabinetry painted in Farrow & Ball’s Red Earth. These tiles have been laid in a classic brick bond pattern, which has a grounding, timeless quality when paired with the more contemporary colour of the cabinetry.

The second look features the Everhot 160i in Forest Green; a wonderfully deep and rich heritage green. We chose to pair this with an enduring favourite, our Antique White square tile from our Contemporary Classics collection. This understated, off-white tile has timeless appeal, creating a clean and fresh look which contrasts with the dark colour of the Everhot. The soft, undulating surface of the tile features a subtle crackle glaze finish, which reflects light around the space beautifully. The overall effect is a contemporary take on two heritage colours.

For the third and final look, we have chosen to include one of our most loved hand painted designs: our Emma pattern square in Flax Blue created in collaboration with leading interior design studio, Sims Hilditch. We looked to the proportions of the Everhot to visually guide our choice of tiles. As this set features one of their smallest cooker, the Everhot 60 in Marine Blue, we decided to create a small panel of our Emma tiles surrounded by a framed border and plain square tiles that have been exquisitely aged in the same shade of blue for a subtle, antique feel. This mimics the effect of a picture hanging above your range cooker, creating a focal point that draws the eye in and creates a conversation piece in your kitchen.
