Introducing the Bloomsbury collection

The Bloomsbury collection is the newest palette to emerge from our Wiltshire studio, a series of handmade tiles inspired by artistic lives, expressive interiors, and the romance of the English countryside. Rooted in the richly creative world of the early 20th-century Bloomsbury Group, this collection reimagines the colours that defined a generation of artists, writers, and thinkers who lived with fearless individuality.

Drawing upon the painted walls of Charleston House and the surrounding landscape, the collection offers a spectrum of hues designed to feel both timeless and quietly expressive. Soft whites, warm ochres, botanical greens, dusky pinks, and inky literary blues form a palette that is as nuanced as it is evocative.

Each shade has been carefully developed to carry the painterly, bohemian spirit of the Bloomsbury artists into contemporary interiors. From the dusty rose of a sun-faded wall to the deep olive of a sheltered garden, these colours tell stories of pigment and memory. They are hues with character - expressive yet understated, designed to bring warmth, tactility, and individuality into the home.

Inside the collection

The Bloomsbury collection is made up of 13x13cm square and 13x6.3cm small brick handmade tiles, available in 13 colours ranging from soft whites and warm ochres to botanical greens, dusky pinks, and inky literary blues - developed to feel timeless and quietly expressive. A refined crackle glaze finish enhances every tile, creating a luminous, gently textured surface that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Handcrafted using age-old processes and unique glaze formulations, each tile carries its own character resulting in subtle tonal variation and a softly reflective finish that captures the painterly, bohemian spirit of the collection. Designed to be mixed, matched, and layered, these crackle glaze tiles can be used to create anything from understated accents to richly coloured surfaces.

Tiles are priced at £2.54 per square tile and £1.46 per small brick tile. Each colour in the Bloomsbury collection can be applied to any of our trim and border pieces to frame and enhance any space.
