This tile depicts the last moments of a whale sighting, as it disappears back beneath the waves off the coast. Whales are a popular sight on the Cornish coast, including Minke and Humpback whales, feeding on plankton and fish in the deep waters.
Recreated in the Delft style of hand painted tiles, our Cornish Delft Whale tile is delicately painted, stroke by stroke, by our team in Marlborough and finished with delicate corner motifs.
These tiles are crafted by hand from the finest Spanish terracotta using traditional techniques, resulting in an organic finish, rich with character and natural imperfections.
This hand painted Cornish Delft wall tile is available on a subtle off white background called Antique White, or a brighter Chalk White for increased vibrance and contrast - simply use the dropdown functionality above to select your preference.

We do not accept returns of handmade, handpiped and handpainted wall tiles. This is because each order is made, painted and glazed to your personal requirements - our wall tiles are made to order and specific to you.
