Introducing the Badger tile with decorative corner motifs, a delightful new design in our Wilding collection of handpainted wall tiles celebrating British wildlife.
Painted by hand in our Wiltshire studio in the traditional Delft blue, this tile captures the distinctive character of the countryside’s most secretive resident. Each brushstroke brings the creature to life with artisanal detail, making it a perfect choice for adding warmth, charm and a playful touch to kitchens, boot rooms, utility spaces or bathrooms.
Badgers are a protected species in the UK and an enduring symbol of the countryside. While not endangered, they face ongoing pressures from habitat loss, road traffic, and disease control measures, making their protection vital to maintaining healthy populations.
We are proud to donate 5% from the sale of every Badger tile to the People's Trust for Endangered Species, helping to protect wildlife across the UK.
Whether combined with other Wilding motifs or showcased alone, this handpainted tile offers timeless craftsmanship inspired by the beauty of the natural world. Each tile is finished with delicate corner motifs, a playful take on traditional Delft tiles.,
These tiles are crafted by hand from the finest Spanish terracotta using traditional techniques, resulting in an organic finish, rich with character and natural imperfections.

Sealer
All of our crackle glaze tiles require sealing to protect and maintain their unique finish. We recommend sealing with our Marlborough Tiles Crackle Glaze Sealer. For further information and guidance, please refer to our Care & Maintenance page.

Returns
We accept returns of full boxes of porcelain floor tiles only within 14 days of original delivery.
Our plain and handpainted wall tiles are made to order and cannot be returned. We recommend measuring your space accurately before ordering using our online tile calculator tool, and keeping any spare tiles as they can be utilised should any damage occur after the tiles have been installed.
