Here is the charming Red Squirrel tile, a joyful new addition to our Wilding collection of handpainted wall tiles inspired by British wildlife. Painted by hand in delicate Delft blue, this design captures the playful energy of one of the countryside’s most beloved creatures.
Red Squirrels are a protected species, with ongoing conservation efforts to grow the UK population. Once found across the UK, they have all but disappeared except for in Scotland, pockets of England and Wales, and some islands off the South Coast.
We are proud to donate 5% from the sale of every Red Squirrel tile to the People's Trust for Endangered Species, helping to protect wildlife across the UK.
Each tile is crafted in our Wiltshire studio, where artisans bring the character of the squirrel to life with fine brushwork and timeless detail. Perfect for adding a touch of whimsy and rural charm to kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms or boot rooms, the Red Squirrel tile pairs beautifully with other motifs from the Wilding collection or stands alone as a delightful focal point.
These tiles are crafted by hand from the finest Spanish terracotta using traditional techniques, resulting in an organic finish, rich with character and natural imperfections.
All of our Wilding designs are available on a soft, off-white background called Antique White, or a brighter Chalk White - simply use the dropdown functionality above to select your preference.
