Meet one of the latest additions to our much-loved Wilding collection – a handpainted Stag tile with delicate corner motifs.
Depicting one of Britain’s most majestic countryside creatures, this design is delicately painted by hand in our Marlborough studio using the traditional Delft blue palette. Each brushstroke captures the quiet elegance of the stag, making this tile a charming focal point for kitchens, utility rooms or boot rooms, or playful bathrooms. Finished with delicate motifs in each corner, these tiles are a charming play on classic Delft designs.
Whilst not endangered, the history of deer in the UK tells a fragile story, with species such as the red deer brought close to extinction in the 18th century due to hunting. Today, they remain reliant on a stable environment and are vulnerable to the effects of habitat decline and climate changes.
We are proud to donate 5% from the sale of every Stag tile to the People's Trust for Endangered Species, helping to protect wildlife across the UK.
Perfect paired with other motifs from the Wilding collection, or simply enjoyed on its own, this artisanal wall tile brings a touch of rural character and timeless craftsmanship into the heart of your home.
These tiles are crafted by hand from the finest Spanish terracotta using traditional techniques, resulting in an organic finish, rich with character and natural imperfections.
All of our Wilding designs are available on a soft, off-white background called Antique White, or a brighter Chalk White - simply use the dropdown functionality above to select your preference.
